It is the responsibility of every human being particularly Muslims to make this world a better place, free of poverty and hunger; education opportunities and health care facilities to all.
All human beings, according to Islam, have been created by the One and the same God, and for this reason they belong to one great brotherhood. All being descendants of the same progenitors, Adam and Eve, should naturally be each other’s well-wishers. They must willingly come to one another’s assistance, like members of the same large family.
It is the foremost responsibility of Muslims to create and establish such institutions that fulfill the aim of making this world a better place. Mission Mercy is such an institution and could play a major role in fulfilling these obligations.
Islam has laid the greatest of emphasis on the support of destitute and disabled members of society. About half of the world’s population – nearly 4 billion people – lives in poverty, on the equivalent of less than $2 a day.
Poverty is the cause of many problems in the world particularly in India today. Poverty has many different causes and effects. Lack of income however is a primary cause of poverty among the Indian Muslims. Poor access to education leads to poorly educated people. Poor health is caused by a lack of access to adequate health services and lack of access to clean water.
Therefore, Mission Mercy has been engage in some key activities for the Indian Muslims and minorities in pursuance of its mission.
